Kurt, Tim - Thanks for today's stream. I've been out of the news-loop and had no idea that EFR was on the way out, so this event came as quite a shock to me. Thank you for recording and sharing this moment of local aviation history with us.

The 2 remaining 737 freighters will also be retired by the end of this financial year, bringing the very long Boeing freighter legacy to an end as Qantas transitions to an all Airbus freighter fleet.

Hola from Texas. Stumbled on this. Had no idea watching the airport was a thing. Crazy but cathartic. 😂

A stunningly beautiful aircraft, one of my earliest memories was an abandoned example at Malta's Luca airport that was later converted to a restaurant/ bar. Eventually abandoned again and destroyed by vandals. Hats off to all those who put in so much hard work to keep her airworthy and the few surviving aircrew that can still fly these legends. I did see the Breitling Constellation take to the air during the Duxford flying legends airshow some years ago but I believe that and the Dutch Connie are grounded for now. is this the only one flying now?

Yes I been stayed at Surfers Paradise before Kurt, we stayed lovely ocean views so when I go outside standing behind on the balcony we can see lovely at the beach. ☀️🏝🏖⛱️🏄‍♀️🏊‍♀️ Also I went out for dinner to the restaurants at the Surfers Paradise also we walked along at the Surfers as well. We go up there every year for a holiday. I will be looking forward to go back up there again in March next year.
